BIM models can also be constructed from detailed three-dimensional surveys made with a laser scanner. This device transforms the spatial information into POINTCLOUDS that after being processed are inserted into the work area of the relevant program. With this, it is possible to reconstruct in detail the current state of a building before proceeding with a remodeling or readjustment of the space. In two of the cases shown in the images, architectural and systems of water management and air conditioning were scanned in order to remodel the buildings. In the last project a structural reconstruction was done to evaluate the stress of a metallic structure in function of the deformation of its elements.
